From an early age, Lucy Iffla has been drawn to a rich mix of musical influences — from The Doobie Brothers to Ella Fitzgerald — shaping her into one of Perth’s most captivating emerging vocalists. After completing a Bachelor of Music (Jazz) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Lucy has spent years refining her craft alongside some of Perth’s finest established musicians, developing a sound defined by elegance, warmth and a timeless vocal style well beyond her years.
Having performed across orchestras and ensembles, Lucy has built a remarkable versatility — including singing in multiple languages and navigating complex rhythms, which has also inspired her original music. Her talent has been recognised with a nomination for a WAM Award (Best Vocalist), the 2020 Jazz Bachelor Recital Award, and a Top Ten Finalist placement in the National Wangaratta Jazz Awards. Lucy has since performed at major events including the International Cabaret Festival, Perth Festival, Perth International Jazz Festival, and a wide range of premium corporate and local venues across Perth.
