Josh Thomas is an award-winning comedian, writer, actor and creator, best known for the internationally acclaimed television series Please Like Me. After establishing himself as a standout stand-up comedian and popular TV panellist, Josh created, wrote, starred in and co-executive produced Please Like Me for ABC — a groundbreaking series inspired by his own life and comedic voice. Its success led to a co-commission with Participant Media’s Pivot network in the US, launching Josh onto the global stage.
Josh’s writing and performances have earned multiple honours, including wins and nominations from the AACTA Awards, Australian Writers’ Guild, and Logie Awards. Please Like Me itself received widespread critical acclaim, winning Best Comedy at the AACTA Awards and Most Outstanding Comedy at the Logies, and earning nominations at the International Emmys, Rose d’Or Awards, and GLAAD Media Awards.
