Frank Woodley is one of Australia’s most beloved and inventive comedians, renowned for his physical comedy, clowning brilliance and boundless imagination. Built from funny “in his bones,” Frank creates unforgettable characters and worlds that captivate audiences of all ages. Since the iconic duo Lano & Woodley parted ways in 2006, Frank has carved a hugely successful solo career, creating acclaimed stage shows (Possessed, Inside, F@#!KING CLOWN*) and starring in his own ABC TV series Woodley.

A versatile performer, Frank has appeared in the family film Oddball, played Sir Robin in Spamalot, starred as the Inspector in Lemony Snicket’s The Composer Is Dead at the Sydney Opera House, and took on the role of Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Melbourne Theatre Company’s Twelfth Night. He has toured children’s show Noodlenut nationally and authored three popular kids’ books featuring young detective Kizmet. On TV, Frank is a regular favourite on Spicks and Specks, The Weekly, Good News Week, Thank God You’re Here, Would I Lie To You? Australia, and the hit Amazon Prime series Last One Laughing Australia, which he won.

Reuniting with Colin Lane in 2018 for their smash-hit show FLY, Lano & Woodley returned triumphantly, winning the Melbourne Comedy Festival People’s Choice Award and selling out theatres around the country. Their newest production Moby Dick continues their legacy of joyful chaos, showcasing the duo at their most ambitious and hilarious. Whether performing solo or alongside Colin, Frank Woodley remains one of Australia’s most imaginative, playful and in-demand acts for corporate entertainment, festivals and major live events.
