Farmer. Scientist. Storyteller. Future Shaper.

Dr. Anika Molesworth is an award-winning farmer, scientist, and climate advocate inspiring audiences worldwide with her optimism, authenticity, and passion for a better future. From the frontlines of the Millennium Drought on her family’s farm, she asked a defining question: “How are we going to feed a rapidly growing global population well, in a climate-challenged world?” That question has shaped her life’s work.

Armed with a PhD in international agricultural development, Anika is a thought leader in agro-ecological resilience. She has travelled to every continent (including Antarctica), working alongside farmers, global leaders, and royalty to champion sustainable farming systems and climate solutions. Her critically acclaimed book, Our Sunburnt Country, won the Royal Societies of Australia & New Zealand Writer’s Award for Outstanding Writing on Social Change.

As the founder of Climate Wise Agriculture and co-founder of Farmers for Climate Action, Anika has helped build a national movement of nearly 8,000 farmers driving climate solutions. She is a sought-after keynote speaker and educator, known for combining science with heartfelt storytelling to engage, inspire, and empower.

Anika’s impact has been recognised globally: 2015 Young Farmer of the Year, 2017 NSW Young Achiever for Environment and Sustainability, Green Globe Young Sustainability Champion (2018), AFR Woman of Influence (2019), Australian Geographic’s Young Conservationist of the Year (2022), and inclusion in the Top 100 Green Power Players.
