Colin Lane is a true legend of Australian comedy and entertainment, with more than 30 years of acclaimed performances on stage and screen. Known for his sharp timing, charismatic storytelling and mischievous charm, Colin first made his mark through theatre sports and ABC’s The Big Gig, before touring internationally in theatres, festivals and cabarets — both as a solo act and alongside fellow comedy greats like Frank Woodley and David Collins.
As one half of the beloved and award-winning duo Lano & Woodley, Colin has performed hundreds of sold-out shows across Australia and the world, co-created hit TV series (The Adventures of Lano & Woodley, The Island, Goodbye), released an ARIA-winning album, and taken home major honours including the Perrier Comedy Award (Edinburgh Fringe), Helpmann Award and Moosehead Award. Colin continues to expand his creative range, recently starring as Black Stache in the acclaimed Broadway-originated production Peter and the Starcatcher.
